Method
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden and fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in honey, soy sauce, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, and spoon the sauce over it to coat. Let it simmer for another 2 minutes to ensure the chicken absorbs the flavors.
- Serve the chicken over cooked rice, and top with steamed or roasted vegetables. Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.
